Many a legend have been spotted in the 'good deal of quality' Tavern. Jimmy Nail (pictured right) is just one of the quality punters available to the keen autograph-hunter.

George Best spotted recently in the Tavern, despite reports of his timely demise (Daily Mail).
At Raynes Park CCFC we have quite a turnover of legends, so I have decided to start documenting these below, beginning with the all time legend Mr Stefan Geelan, who was drawn back to his native New Zealand after a call-up to the All Blacks team.
Stefan Geelan: Attacking Midfielder/Striker
Raised by wolves in the backwaters of Nelson, Geelan spent most of his early years souping up cars, growing fantastic mullets and drinking. As a kiwi (not the fruit) football did not come easily, as his early performances were sullied by constant outrageous displays of the Hakka during the game. Geelan has however matured into a first team regular, using his unique ability of gangly strength and determination to produce consistent performances. RPCCFC's water carrier and all round nice bloke.
James Dowling aka 'Big Jim': Goalkeeper
Like a giant squid Jim quite literally lets nothing through. Enthusiastic BJ's remarkable consumption of high strength lager is often mistaken for alcoholism, but actually represents aspirations to one day compete in the world darts championship.
Rich Graeme: Left Midfield/Striker (sold to Man Utd)
The playboy of the team. Likely to be found in Raynes Parks' celebrity haunt, the Tavern, sipping a beer and exchanges betting tips with Bestie and Nail. The tattoos, the mullet, and lavish lifestyle all point to Darren Huckerby, an idol of his. Versatile as a metal bar, Graeme has the ball control skills that make you imagine his legs are indeed wands and he is conducting his very own, private magical symphony for your benefit. An old school winger who has adapted to leading from the front, he is RPCCFC's answer to the age old left hand side problem. This of course is a fine description when he's not still drunk, which unfortunately only happens once a season.
