Formed at the relatively early beginning of the new millennium, WMCFC (previously known as Raynes Park Café Church Football Club) has become the vehicle for the melding together of four key principles - Football, Carlsberg, Curry and oh, Religion.

Created out of a vociferous pub debate by High Priest Sir Andy of the Frost after canvasing old school friends, religious colleges and Tavern regulars, WMCFC gathered together a relatively good/appalling squad of players to compete in the Southern Area Christian Football League. Soon a kit and pitch followed, and the rest is history.

Each season has been full of highs and lows, but the morale, commitment and desire has never been stronger. WMCFC are hungry for revenge, not in a biblical sense, but in a footballing one. Our club has been born out of a desire to create a community spirit amongst the local area, other churches, Chillies and the Tavern. We have a team spirit that is unrivalled, and this is due to some great leaders, our captain David Bromfield, our spiritual leader Andy Frost, and most of all our life-blood, the Berg.
